Navi, a young wizard-in-training, gazed out the window of her school, Evergreen Academy, wondering about the strange rules that had been cropping up lately. As she brushed a lock of her long, blue-streaked hair behind her ear, her best friend, Ximena, approached with a concerned look on her face.

"Did you hear about the new curfew?" Ximena asked, her brown eyes wide. "We have to be back in our dorms by 7 pm sharp, no exceptions!"

Navi frowned, her tan skin creasing in thought. "That's not all. There's a new rule about no outside activities after classes. I wanted to join the Quidditch team, but they said it's not allowed anymore."

The two girls exchanged a worried glance. Something was off about these new policies, and they were determined to get to the bottom of it. With a nod, they set off to investigate, their curiosity piqued.

As they wandered the halls, Navi and Ximena noticed the usually vibrant school seemed subdued, the students whispering anxiously about the changes. "Who's making these rules?" Ximena wondered aloud, her big pink bow bouncing as she walked.

Navi shrugged, her brown eyes narrowed in thought. "I don't know, but I'm going to find out. This isn't right – Evergreen has always been a place of freedom and exploration for us young wizards."

Their search led them to the office of the school's headmaster, a stern-faced wizard named Professor Grimm. Navi took a deep breath and knocked on the door, Ximena at her side.

"Come in," a gruff voice called, and the girls entered, ready to get some answers.
