Learn To Be is an incredible meaningful way to volunteer your time; tutoring is rewarding, engaging, and frequently pushes you out of your comfort zone. My favorite thing about Learn To Be is that it gives you an opportunity to make a difference in a way that is accessible and enjoyable, but also really invites you to try and become a better version of yourself. Through being a tutor, I've gotten better at talking to parents, explaining things, planning ahead, and staying patient. But Learn To Be has also made it easy for me to do my best, as the website provides resources for tutors, questions are always quickly answered through email, and tutors are just generally very well supported overall.

They graduate from high school more frequently. They're able to read the application for that job they want. They gain confidence and dignity. They learn about the world about them. And they get to be a part of changing that world for the better.
