Alex is an 11th grader who needs help in reading.

Get to know Alex and her family better

Please describe your student and why you qualify for tutoring.
Alex is a really cool girl. Her and I are siblings and we have lived together for 2 years when we left our parents because they haven't been great. We are living as best we can right now. She is really smart and gets great grades and she is going to go to college whatever it takes for me but she needs help in her History class and I hope this tutoring website actually works unlike the other ones. I am always working when she gets home from school so I hardly see her when she is working on school stuff. I think this is really going to help her. We both have some weird scheduling and so rough conditions but we are going to make this work.
Please describe specifically what your student needs help with.
Truthfully she needs help in her US History class. It is an advanced class. She is really smart and I want her to get somewhere and I can't always be around to help her. I really don't understand it either.
What are you most grateful for?
Being grateful for anything comes from the Lord above and how all things are possible if they are done through Him.
What are your greatest hopes for your student?
I just want her to get good grades and go to college so we can live past our parents. I made my life my own in a different way taking care of my sister but she is going to run the world.
According to the student, how can we make the world a better place?
To make the world a better place all humans need to get together and take care of this world. We need to clean up after our own destructions. We need to love everyone unconditionally and spread the love of Jesus Christ through everyone we meet.
What is the student's favorite book?
The book Black Boy written by Richard Wright is a very interesting book to read.
What does the student want to be when they grow up?
When I grow up I want to be somewhere in law enforcement but I also want to be a writer at the same time.
