Please describe your student and why you qualify for tutoring.
Le’Var is a very enthusiastic 6 year old who enjoys having fun. Currently he is struggling with classroom assignments and most of his work comes home incomplete. I recently had Le’Var evaluated and after explaining some of his behaviorst, and he has been diagnosed with an adjustment disorder. I personally believe his diagnosis is inaccurate and I am working closely with his school and therapist, to have him properly diagnosed and treated. He struggles with staying focused and engaged in learning and get upset and shuts down when he feels that he is not learning. My work schedule does not always allow me to give Le'Var the proper tutoring at home, but I definitely do my best to help him to understand and to comprehend what he is learning. I know with the time and proper commitment of tutoring, as well as with my help at home, Le’Var will be on the fast track to learning in no time!
