"Our tutor seems to have been able to quickly build a good rapport with Cameron. I was worried that Cameron might be resistant to tutoring on the weekend, but those concerns were unnecessary. In fact, Cameron's face lights up when he hears that he will have tutoring this weekend. I think he looks forward to the sessions!"

Absolutely! Learn to Be offers free online tutoring specifically designed to support children from under-resourced communities. Our tutors provide 1-on-1 tutoring on a broad range of subjects within K-12 grades. We are committed to offering free tutoring and helping bridge the educational gap to ensure all children have equal opportunities to succeed academically.
Certainly! Your student can absolutely seek tutoring in more than one subject. If they require assistance in multiple subjects, they have the flexibility to connect with different tutors specializing in each subject. For instance, if they need math tutoring and help with reading, they can easily be connected with two different tutors, one for each respective subject. This allows them to receive targeted support and guidance in each area of study, maximizing their learning potential.
Tutoring once a week can be beneficial for many students, although it may not meet the needs of every individual. The effectiveness of tutoring will always depend on the individual needs of the student and their goals. To ensure a student is receiving adequate support, it is crucial to maintain open communication with the tutor and regularly discuss the student's progress. This way, any necessary adjustments can be made to ensure the tutoring sessions align with the student's specific needs.
Typically at Learn To Be, we see most tutoring hours for all subjects in the K-12 grade range. The break down is approximately 43% math, 30% reading, 6% writing, and the remaining 21% percent (split between subjects like Algebra, Geometry, ESL, Science, History, etc).
