Please describe your student and why you qualify for tutoring.
My son is a very sweet and helpful 8 year old boy. He is very out going and social. At school he has a teacher in reading that is different than his teacher the remainder of the day (the whole class does). He struggles to receive help from her. He is having trouble with answering questions with what he is reading and constructing complete paragraphs. This is his first year of state testing (3rd grade) and I worry about how he will do. I thought maybe a little extra help outside of school might be the key to his success. I am a single mom and can’t afford a tutor. I’ve tried my best to help him, but I think a tutor might be what would best help him. We are available most evenings and weekends. I am hoping I can find free tutoring to help my son succeed.
