Please describe your student and why you qualify for tutoring.
Dylan is a very bright 12-year-old, soon to be 13 who loves video games, computers and dogs. He is an only child and spends two to four days a week with his grandparents while his mother completes her college education. Dylan does well in science, social studies, and English classes but has always struggled with math. Now that he is in his final year of middle school we really need to make sure he can find a comfort level in doing math problems and with the processes required.
What are your greatest hopes for your student?
That he get through his final year of middle school as successful as possible and with a strong confidence in himself as he moves on to the next steps in his educational life.
What are you most grateful for?
Being alive and for my family.
